Loadmark

Inspection software for South African lifting machinery entities.

Your inspector tests the crane on their phone, even with no signal. The client gets the certificate as soon as the phone has signal, often before you leave site. When the next inspection is due, Loadmark reminds them in your name and they book it with one click.

How it works

Every inspection already tells you when the next one is due. Loadmark turns that date into a booking.

  1. 1.1

    Inspect on the phone

Find the machine by fleet number, QR code or the client's own barcode, run the checklist, record the load test, take photos and sign with a finger. No signal needed.

  2. 1.2

    Certificate on site

A PDF on your letterhead with your LME number and the inspector's ECSA number, emailed to the client with a QR code that proves it's genuine.

  3. 1.3

    The client rebooks

At 30, 14 and 7 days before the due date the client gets a reminder from you. One click on Book my inspection lands on your dashboard.

On site

Cold rooms, basements and mines have no signal, and loadshedding doesn't wait. The app keeps today's jobs, every site and every machine on the phone, and uploads signed inspections when signal returns.

In the office

One page tells you what's due this month and next in rand, who's overdue, which machines failed, which bookings are waiting and whose ECSA registration is about to expire.

Compliance

DMR 2015 intervals
12-month, 6-month and 3-month inspections are loaded for you, and can be changed per machine type.
Expired LMI can't sign
An inspector whose ECSA registration has lapsed is blocked from signing a 12-month performance test.
No backdating
The inspection date comes from the phone at sign-off. Issued certificates can't be edited; a correction supersedes them.
POPIA
Access control, a retention period, one-click export or anonymise, and an audit log nobody can edit.

Questions

Is Loadmark an LME? Does it certify anything?
No. Loadmark is software. Your company, as the registered LME, and your inspector issue and sign every certificate. Every certificate says "Generated with Loadmark software" in its footer.
Does it really work without signal?
Yes. Open the app once with signal and it keeps what it needs on the phone. Every tap is saved as you go, and signed inspections upload by themselves when the phone finds signal again.
We already have clients inspected before. What happens to them?
Upload their register as it is (Excel or CSV) with the date of each machine's last inspection, or send it to us and we load it. Loadmark works out the next due date and starts reminding from there.
Who do the reminders come from?
From your company's name, and replies go to your email address. You can switch reminders off for any client.
